Head of Gov't Administration: New Set of Quarantine Rules Coming into Force Today
A new set of rules is coming into force today and citizens of Georgia will be placed in self-isolation instead of quarantine if they present negative PCR test results at the border upon their entry to the country. It was announced by Natia Mezvrishvili, Head of Government Administration at a press briefing today.
She noted that certain speculations existed on the matter and these rules apply to citizens of Georgia arriving from any country of the world.
“Certain speculations existed on the matter, but the only truth is that people, who will present negative PCR test results upon their entry to the country will be sent to self-isolation instead of quarantine. This measure applies to citizens of Georgia arriving from any country of the world, not only those which are under the international reciprocation arrangement” she stated.
