Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 1595 New Cases, 398 Recoveries, 6 Deaths
As of October 22, 1595 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia, bringing the total number of infected people to 22803.
Out of 1595 cases of coronavirus, 563 cases were reported in Tbilisi, 389 in Adjara and 335 in Imereti, said Berdia Sichinava, Deputy Chief of Operations at the Interagency Coordination Council.
"Out of 1595 new infections revealed today, we have 563 cases in Tbilisi, 389 in Adjara, 335 in Imereti, 77 in Kvemo Kartli, 69 in Shida Kartli, 53 in Guria, 42 in Samegrelo and Zemo Svaneti, 17 in Kakheti, 26 in Mtskheta-Mtianeti, 24 in Samtskhe-Javakheti - 24, 0 in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti," he stated.
The number of recovered patients has increased by 398 and reached 9401.
6 patients died of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 178.
4408 citizens are placed in quarantine zones and 3155 under supervision in hospitals.
1848 patients are treated at Covid Hotels.
41 Georgian citizens have been transferred from abroad for treatment.
Currently, there are 13224 active cases in the country.
