The Noise of Time in Georgian

The Noise of Time, a novel by British writer Julian Barnes, is now available for Georgian readers, the original version, however, will be published on January 28th, 2016, in Great Britain.

The novel will be published by Diogene. Zaza Chiladze and Gia Chumburidze translated the novel into Georgian, and was edited by Irma Tavelidze.

Julian Patrick Barnes was born January 19th, 1946. He won the Man Booker Prize for his book, The Sense of an Ending. Three of his books were shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize: Flaubert’s Parrot, England, England and Arthur & George.

In 2004, Barnes became a Commandeur of L'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. His honors also include: the Somerset Maugham Award and the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize.
