Georgia Reports 1941 New Cases of Coronavirus, 412 Recoveries, 10 Deaths

As of October 24, 1941 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia, bringing the total number of infected people to 26503.

Of the newly detected cases, 1034 were reported in Tbilisi, 320 in Adjara and 258 in Imereti. 

"Of 1941 cases detected today, we have 1034 cases in Tbilisi, 320 in Adjara, 258 in Imereti, 107 in Kvemo Kartli, 68 in Shida Kartli, 12 in Guria, 49 in Samegrelo and Zemo Svaneti, 37 in Kakheti, 36 in Mtskheta-Mtianeti, 18 in Samtskhe-Javakheti, 2 in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti," stated Berdia Sichinava, Deputy Chief of Operations at the Interagency Coordination Council.

He added that the condition of 427 patients infected with COVID-19 is poor. 

The number of recovered patients has increased by 412 and reached 10163.

10 patients died of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 193.

Currently, there are 16147 active cases in the country.
