Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 1872 New Cases, 14 Deaths
As of October 26, 1872 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia, bringing the total number of infected people to 30,303.
Of the newly detected cases, 913 were reported in Tbilisi, 337 in Imereti and 296 in Adjara.
Regarding the situation in other regions, 89 new cases were registered in Kvemo Kartli, 54 in Shida Kartli, 32 in Guria, 90 in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, 13 in Kakheti, 30 in Mtskheta-Mtianeti, 11 in Samtskhe-Javakheti, 7 in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti.
The above was announced by Berdia Sichinava, Deputy Chief of Operational Staff at the Interagency Coordination Council.
The number of recovered patients has increased by 603 to reach 11,370.
14 patients died of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 215.
Currently, there are 18,718 active cases in the country.
