Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 1824 New Cases, 1262 Recoveries, 23 Deaths
As of October 27, 1824 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia, bringing the total number of infected people to 32,127.
Of the newly detected cases, 712 were reported in Tbilisi, 545 in Adjara and 305 in Imereti.
Regarding the situation in other regions, 48 new cases were registered in Kvemo Kartli, 56 in Shida Kartli, 24 in Guria, 63 in Samegrelo and Zemo Svaneti, 23 in Kakheti, 22 in Mtskheta-Mtianeti, 22 in Samtskhe-Javakheti, and 4 in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti.
The number of recovered patients has increased by 1262 to reach 12632.
23 patients died of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 238.
"Currently, 105 patients are on artificial respiration in the country," stated Berdia Sichinava, Deputy Chief of Operational Staff at the Interagency Coordination Council.
3757 people are in mandatory quarantine and 3847 under examination in hospitals.
2249 patients are getting treatment at COVID hotels.
Currently, there are 19,257 active cases in the country.
