Restaurants to Close Daily at 22:00 Nationwide

Restaurants across the country will be open only until 22:00, Vice Prime Minister Maia Tskitishvili said after the meeting of the Coordination Council on Coronavirus. 

"In Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Mtskheta and Batumi, the operation of restaurants was restricted after 22:00. All eateries in these cities were open until 22:00, however, given that there is a high number of infections detected in restaurants and during the events held there, today we decided that restaurants across the country will be open until 22:00," said Maia Tskitishvili.

Further, based on the government's decision, wearing medical face masks will become mandatory both in closed and open spaces from November 4. The decision serves to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Citizens who do not wear face masks both in closed and open spaces from November 4, will pay a 20-GEL fine.
