Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 2901 New Cases, 2799 Recoveries, 34 Deaths
As of November 8, 2901 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia, bringing the total number of infected people to 57,753.
"We are still maintaining positive momentum in terms of the growth of recoveries. In particular, 2799 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, and the total number of recovered people has increased to 42,572. Unfortunately, 34 people have died in the last 24 hours. Among them 14 people in Tbilisi, 7 in Adjara, 8 in Imereti, 3 in Shida Kartli, 1 in Kvemo Kartli and 1 in Kakheti. As of February 26, 2020, we have a total of 475 deaths.
"Of the 2901 new cases recorded today, 1060 cases were detected in Tbilisi, 461 in Adjara, 340 in Imereti, 181 in Kvemo Kartli, 199 in Shida Kartli, 68 in Guria, 369 in Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti, 94 in Kakheti, 78 in Mtskheta-Mtianeti, 45 in Samtskhe-Javakheti, 6 in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti," reads the information of the operational headquarters of the Interagency Coordination Council.
Currently, there are 14706 active cases in Georgia.
