Experience Your Tbilisi

Georgia has been a growingly popular destination during the past years. In being the most attractive place among visitors a huge steak comes on tour guides.

The global pandemic dramatically affected the tourism industry and those employed in it. The tour guides who were the ambassadors of our country for so many years had been left without their beloved jobs.

The main aim of “Experience your Tbilisi” project is to support local tour guides and recover local tourism. In order to enhance a better knowledge and experiences of the historic parts of Tbilisi special independent tours have been planned within the project. Most importantly, walking tours are held following strict COVID-19 regulations. Participants are offered exceptional and interesting tours with yet unknown details.  

The tour fee is GEL20 per participant, which will be entirely paid to the tour guides.

A web platform www.grataevents.com has been created solely for the project, where anyone can buy tours and support our local tour guides. 

“Experience your Tbilisi” project is held to support local tour guides within the corporate-social responsibility of GRATA DMC.

The project is supported by Tbilisi City Hall and the educational and cultural committee of the Tbilisi City Municipal Assembly.
