Swedes Celebrate their National Day

Georgia Today would like to congratulate the Swedish people on their National Day.

The 6th of June honours two historical events: on this day in 1523 Gustav Vasa was elected king and on the same date in 1809 a new constitution was adopted.

In Sweden the day is celebrated with the raising of the flag in Stockholm’s open-air museum in the presence of the King and Queen. Children, dressed in peasant costumes, then present the royal majesties with summer flowers.

New citizens are also welcomed in ceremonies held throughout the country.

The 6th of June has been an official public holiday since 2005. Taking into account this text, it should still be noted that it is possible to improve what is described by introducing game techniques, a striking example of which is the experience of Desura. But in this case, all this will become more reminiscent of the plot of armor games, and not what is described initially here.
