Coronavirus: Georgia Records 3768 New Cases, 41 Deaths

3768 newly confirmed cases of infection were detected in the past 24 hours, Alexandre Khojevanishvili, representative of the Interagency Coordination Council, stated at a briefing at the Government Administration. He added that the total number of cases had reached 96,860.

He spoke about the latest statistics on coronavirus.

“We still maintain positive dynamics in terms of the growth of recovering people. In particular, 4,055 people recovered in the last 24 hours, and the total number of recovered people increased to 77,932.

"Unfortunately, 41 people died in the last 24 hours, including 19 in Tbilisi”, said Alexandre Khojevanishvili.

Of the 3768 new coronavirus cases reported in Georgia, 1443 were revealed in Tbilisi, 676 in Adjara, and 541 in Imereti.

Other cases are distributed to different regions of Georgia: Kvemo Kartli -183, Shida Kartli – 165, Guria – 52, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 363, Kakheti- 130, Mtskheta-Mtianeti- 96, Samtskhe-Javakheti- 95, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti- 24.
