Aerial Photos for Charity

Charity photo exhibition 'Airports of Georgia' by Gocha Chanadiri shows 30 photos taken from a helicopter during 2012-2014. The exhibit opened Saturday at TBC Art Gallery.

The proceeds of the sold artworks will be donated in support of medical expenses for Davit Kinwurashvili, a member of Imedis Gmirebi.

Kinwurashvili rose to fame in 2013 through a television show. Known to heal children and support the poor, Kinwurashvili started the school Momavlis Gza.

The tv personality and philanthropist needs to be diagnosed abroad for a yet unknown medical condition, local doctors have told Kinwurashvili.

In total 21 photos have, already, been bought by organizations and individuals. A single picture costs 150-200 Gel.

The exhibition will last until all the art is sold.
