Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 4048 New Cases, 49 Deaths

Georgia has reported 4048 new coronavirus cases, 3856 recoveries and 49 deaths in the past 24 hours, a government-run special website stopcov.ge reports. 

The total number of coronavirus cases increased to 104732, of those, 85639 recovered and 976 died.

"Unfortunately, we have 49 new cases of coronavirus death in the last 24 hours. Among them, 24 were reported in Tbilisi, 13 in Adjara, 7 in Imereti, 1 in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, 3 in Kvemo Kartli and 1 in Shida Kartli," reads the official information spread by the Interagency Coordination Council.

Currently, 2159 people are quarantined, 6189 remain at COVID-Hotels and 3449 are under medical observation.

At this point, there are 18117 active cases in the country.
