Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 3071 New Cases, 34 Deaths

Georgia has reported 3071 new coronavirus cases, 3366 recoveries and 34 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

In total, Georgia’s coronavirus cases increased to 114,889; of those, 95,581 recovered and 1085 died.

Berdia Sichinava, Deputy Head of the Task Force operating at the Inter-Agency Coordination Council on COVID-19,  named the locations where 3071 new coronavirus cases were revealed in the past 24 hours.

The locations are as follows:

  • Tbilisi – 1314
  • Adjara – 523
  • Imereti – 264
  • Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 232
  • Kakheti – 214
  • Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 165
  • Guria – 106
  • Kvemo Kartli – 104
  • Samtskhe-Javakheti – 84
  • Shida Kartli – 44
  • Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 21

At present, Georgia has 18,197 active coronavirus cases. In total, 886 coronavirus patients are in a serious state, of those, 324 have been put on artificial ventilation.
