Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 3801 New Cases, 39 Deaths

Georgia has reported 3 801 new coronavirus cases, 3 200 recoveries and 39 deaths in the past 24 hours, the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health reports.

Based on the regions, the newly detected cases are distributed as follows: 

Tbilisi 1,293, Adjara 475, Imereti 793, Kvemo Kartli 270, Shida Kartli 232, Guria 80, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti 371, Kakheti 129, Mtskheta-Mtianeti 70, Samtskhe-Javakheti 62, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti 26.

In total, the country's coronavirus cases increased to 118 690, of those, 98 781 recovered and 1 124 died.

Currently, 2 071 people are in quarantine, 3 723 remain at COVID-Hotels and 6 145 are under medical observation.

At this point, there are 18 785 active cases in Georgia.
