Studies in Large City Schools to Resume Remotely
The study process will resume remotely in 10 cities and the Adjara region of Georgia from January 18, Ekaterine Dgebuadze, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, announced at a briefing.
Based on the order of the Georgian Education Minister, studies with online programs will resume in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Rustavi, Telavi, Zugdidi, Zestaphoni, Gori, Poti, Marneuli and Gardabani. The schools in the Adjara region will also continue the study process remotely.
She noted that the educational process in other schools on the territory of Georgia will be resumed in the classrooms.
"The Ministry of Education has provided support in terms of hygienic sanitation and equipped schools with all necessary disinfectants. All other schools are prepared to meet the renewal of the semester and all these schools will start the learning process in the classrooms," Dgebuadze said.
