Batumi Boulevard to Be Developed
Batumi’s Boulevard administration in working on a new project to develop the iconic boardwalk. According to the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Adjara, the Boulevard will create its own development plan for the first time in history.
A new document implies future development of the boulevard, specifically, creating an entire topographical plan, which includes dividing the territory into zones and planning them strategically.
The project was presented was at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Batumi, where the Minister of Finance and Economy of Adjara, Davit Baladze, discussed the socioeconomic importance of the new development plan.
The development will be carried out in accordance with the Florence Charter. One of the paragraphs contained in the agreement mentions conservation, rehabilitation and reconstruction of the Batumi Boulevard.
Hotel Oasis is working on the development concept and is one of the leading companies in Adjara. Dreamland Oasis is carrying out a large scale project worth ₾105 million in Chakvi. The contract offered by the company had the lowest cost, which was an important factor in making the decision.
The Batumi Boulevard topographic plan and Batumi Boulevard concept will be completed in spring, 2016.
