Georgia Reports 676 New Coronavirus Cases, 11 Deaths

Georgia reported 676 coronavirus cases, 1 441 recoveries, and 11 deaths on Saturday.

19989 tests were performed in the last 24 hours, including 13 126 antigen tests and 6 863 PCRs. 

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 253 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 139 cases and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti with 72 cases.

The number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the pandemic now stands at 257 632, among them 248 537 people recovered and  3 159 died.

There are 530 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 2 694 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, and 311 people are treated at Covid Hotels.

Presently, there are 5936 active cases of coronavirus in the country.
