Holy Synod Meeting to be Held Today

The Holy Synod of Georgia will hold a meeting today. The meeting will start at 12:00.

The Patriarchate did not elaborate on the topics of discussion, however, reportedly, the main topics discussed will be the national vaccination plan and the import of coronavirus vaccines to Georgia. As it is known, the majority of clergymen oppose the vaccination process, as they consider it unjustified from the religious point of view. 

Currently, the members of the Holy Synod refrain from commenting on today's meeting. They will likely elaborate on details and decisions taken after the completion of the meeting. 

The Holy Synod meeting will be held at the invitation of the Patriarchate of All Georgia Ilia ll.
