Farfetch Announces Official Launch On Georgian Market

Farfetch, the online platform for the world's best boutiques, is to open an official representative office in Russia. Representative office based in Moscow will be responsible for the company’s business in Russia, Georgia, CIS and Baltic markets.

Now buyers of these countries can take advantage of the exclusive and varied collections of clothing and accessories from more than 300 boutiques and concept stores around the world with the most progressive designers and brands, as well as access the unique possibilities and services Farfetch provides.

In addition to the opening of a representative office in Moscow, Farfetch announces the beginning of investment into the company’s business in areas such as logistics, marketing and customer service as well as to support local talent. The investment amount is undisclosed.

The decision to open the representative office was made in the first quarter of 2015. To date, a localized Russian-language version of the farfetch.com website has been launched; a local team of highly-qualified experts has been assembled; and a Russian-language customer support service has been organized and launched for customers in Georgia, Russia, the CIS and Baltic countries. For VIP customer service there is a special department which provides a range of unique services, including a personal stylist service and access to pre-ordering from the new collections of the best designers in the world.
