President to Veto Bill Regarding NBG

The President of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili might veto the bill on separating Georgia’s National Bank and its supervisory function. The statement about this was made by the President’s advisor, Giorgi Abashishvili.
“In this case we see a direct threat to the country’s economic policy. Not only do we see a bill that does not change anything essential, but will also directly harm the country’s economy,” said Abashishvili.
