Netflix is Now Available in Georgia

Netflix, the world famous multinational provider of streaming media services, has finally come to Georgia.

The company announced today that it has brought its service to more than 130 new countries worldwide, including Georgia.

“Today you are witnessing the birth of a new global Internet TV network,” stated Netflix’s Co-founder and Chief Executive, Reed Hastings; “With this launch, consumers around the world – from Singapore to St. Petersburg, from San Francisco to Sao Paulo – will be able to enjoy TV shows and movies simultaneously – no more waiting. With the help of the Internet, we are putting power in consumers’ hands to watch whenever, wherever and on whatever device.”

Georgian customers will be able to use the service for free during the first month and after that choose from a variety of packages, with plans starting €7.99 a month.
