University of Tartu Unveils Georgian Language Courses

The University of Tartu, a national university in Estonia, is giving students the opportunity to study the Georgian language.

The College of Foreign Languages and Cultures is one of the biggest and most prestigious universities in Estonia and it recently launched special language courses, to help people learn the language spoken natively by around five million people in Georgia.

All courses start on the second week of February and last for 15-16 weeks.

The course is open for registration from December 15th 2015 to February 7th 2016.

Georgian courses are coordinated by the Department of Languages of the Asian Region at the University of Tartu.

The courses are free of charge for the students of the university and for visiting students from other Estonian higher education institutions too.
