Environmental Managers to be Trained for Companies
From February 1st, according to the Waste Management Code, natural and legal persons, whose activities resulted in more than 200 tonnes of non-hazardous and 1000 tonnes or more of hazardous waste during the year, are obliged to have their waste management personnel responsible for environmental management.
The Environmental Manager is responsible for:
- Waste Management Plan Preparation and it’s updating
- Waste Management Plan implementation
- Self-monitoring and implementation of internal controls
The Environmental Information and Education Center is offering a 5-day training course “Environmental Management for Environmental Managers”. The course aims to train staff for the companies according to the requirements imposed by the law and with modern worldwide standards.
