EU Films Festival Kicks off in Georgia to Endorse EU Values

TBILISI - To promote European values in the various regions of Georgia, the EU mission in Georgia is gearing up to show more than a dozen films for audiences across the country.

The EU Film Festival 2016 kicks off with 17 European movies on March 9th and for nine days will wander to five towns and cities of Georgia: Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Rustavi, Bolnisi and Mestia.

The festival will start from the capital city Tbilisi, at Amirani Cinema on March 9th and will continue travelling to other towns of Georgia until March 18th.

This is third time Georgia has hosted EU film festival. It was debuted in 2014, and since then more than 30 films and animation works have been screened in the first two editions of the project.
The EU Film Festival in Georgia is financed by the EU and its member states.
