26-room Hotel to be Built at Georgia’s Shaori Lake
TBILISI – Construction and real estate company Geotechinvest will build a 1.5 million GEL, 26-room hotel complex on the shores of Shaori Lake in Georgia’s northwestern Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti region.
According to the company’s director, Mamuka Jmukhadze, construction works are expected to run from May-October.
Upon completion, the hotel will be the first located at the lake.
The complex Shaori will include a conference room and a restaurant capable of hosting 80 people, as well as facilities for fishing.
The company plans to participate in the state program Host in Georgia, part of the government’s Produce in Georgia program, aimed at developing the hotel industry in the country’s regions.
Located at the height of 1,132 meters above sea level, freshwater Shaori Lake is the largest in the region.
