Georgian Wines Featured at Germany’s ProWein Exhibition

DUSSELDORF, Germany – More than a dozen Georgian wine companies are taking part in the 2016 ProWein Exhibition in Dusseldorf, Germany.

The ProWein Exhibition is a prestigious annual event in the wine industry. The exhibition allows vintners from around the world to establish relationships with various international partners.

This year’s event includes more 6,000 wine producers from 57 countries.

According to the National Wine Agency, Georgian companies are holding negotiations with importers and distribution companies in Europe, Canada, the United States and Asia.

Georgia first attended the Dusseldorf exhibition in 2000.
