New Hospital Opens in Georgia’s Coastal City Batumi

BATUMI - A new International University Hospital "IUHB" has opened in Batumi, Georgia’s Black Sea coastal city.

The 25 million GEL hospital is equipped with modern technology and is gearing up to accommodate 103 patients and ensures accurate diagnostics and high quality outpatient treatment.

The IUHB is one of the first medical institutions in Georgia where the institute of advocate of patient's rights was introduced.

On Wednesday, Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili opened the hospital. He emphasized that opening the hospital is another example of partnership, brotherhood and friendship between Georgia and Turkey, as the investor who built the hospital is a Georgian born Turkish citizen.
