Patriarch of Georgia Praises Georgians for their Solidarity

In yesterday's Sunday sermon, the Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II of Georgia  again talked about the June 13 devastating Tbilisi flooding and described it as a test for Georgian people. He thanked God that the Georgian nation had come out and stood together to help others. They passed the test, he said.
"We thank the Lord for everything. We thank him for his great mercy. It was an ordeal and our people passed it in a worthy way. All people came out to help the needy. It really was an expression of love," said the Catholicos-Patriarch.
