Teenage Gymnast Wins Bronze at European Games

Georgian gymnast Salome Pazhava, aged 17, has won bronze at the inaugural European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan in the ribbon event of the rhythmic gymnastics.

The young Georgian adapted her rhythmic performance to incorporate features of traditional dances from her homeland, much to the delight of the audience and, more importantly, the judges.

Phazava’s bronze takes Georgia’s medal total to 7 for the Games which finish on June 28.
