National Bank of Georgia to Have a New President

The President of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili has begun consultations regarding the selection process of the new Head of NBG. According to his adviser, Giorgi Abashishvili, he is planning to personally meet and discuss the matter with foreign experts, representatives of Georgian private banks, NGOs, and business association members. 
"As you may already know, Giorgi Kadagidze's term in office will soon expire and the process of selecting a new candidate will start soon; it will be a very open procedure," said Abashishvili.
