Alphabet Tower Opens in Batumi

BATUMI, Georgia – A multi-purpose complex known as the Alphabet Tower opened in Georgia’s Black Sea resort city Batumi on June 21.

The 130 meter-high structure includes a tourist information center and restaurant with panoramic views. The building was designed as a stylized symbol of the Georgian alphabet in the form of a double helix.

The complex also includes conference and VIP rooms as well as outdoor terrace that can accommodate live performances.
