Christina Aguilera, Scorpions and Vanessa Mae to Perform in Georgia

TBILISI – A whole host of international performers will perform at Georgia’s new Black Sea Arena later this month.

US-born singer Christina Aguilera will open the Arena’s summer concert season with her performance on July 30.

Up to 10,000 concertgoers are expected at the show. Tickets for Aguilera’s performance are currently on sale at tkt.ge website and vary in price from USD 38 to USD 256 (90 - 600 GEL).

German 1980s heavy metal pioneers the Scorpions and British violinist Vanessa Mae will also play at the Arena later this summer, concert organizers said in an official statement.

The Black Sea Arena is a 200 million GEL investment project by Cartu Charity Foundation, established and financed by Georgia’s eccentric billionaire oligarch and former Prime Minister, Bidzina Ivanishvili.

The Arena is an international standard, multi-use venue that is capable of hosting concerts, sporting events and other public events.

The new concert hall officially opened on June 10.
