Georgian Railways Adds Extra Passenger Carriages for Vanessa Mae Concert

TBILISI - Georgian Railways is adding additional passenger carriages to trains travelling to and from the capital Tbilisi to the Black Sea resort Ureki, due to the number of concertgoers who will attend a performance by acclaimed violinist Vanessa Mae on August 6.

According to a press release by Georgian Railways, a total of four extra carriages will be added to the return journey.

“The train will leave from the Tbilisi Central Train Station on August 6 at 10:25 AM, and from Ureki on August 7 at 2 AM. The train will also stop at Batumi and Kobuleti,” the press release said.

Mae, a violinist whose global album sales have topped 10 million, is to perform at the newly-opened Black Sea Arena in Shekvetili on August 6.
