Garibashvili Expresses Condolences to Kuwaiti PM
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has expressed his sadness over the terrorist attack at Imam Sadiq Mosque on June 26 and sent a letter of condolence to Kuwait Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
“On behalf of the Georgian government and people I express my great sorrow over an explosion on June 26, 2015 which has taken the lives of innocent people. Georgia unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations in the world. We consider this brutal and horrifying act as the gravest crime against the entire civilized world.
“I assure you, this moment of mourning that Georgian people are beside their Kuwaitian friends. We sincerely express our condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased,” said Garibashvili in his letter.
The suicide attack killed at least 27 people and left more than 200 wounded.
