New Mall Opens in Tbilisi’s Gldani District

TBILISI – Georgia’s capital welcomed the opening of a new three-storey, 40.000 sqm shopping center Friday in Tbilisi’s Gldani district.

Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili attended the mall's opening ceremony, saying he hoped that the construction of similar shopping centers would provide new employment opportunities for Tbilisi’s residents.

Gldani City Mall is expected to employ up to 1,000 people once fully occupied.
