Two Georgian Movies Selected for Sarajevo CineLink
Alongside nine international films, two Georgian movies have been selected for the Sarajevo Film Festival co-production market.
Georgian film-maker, Tinatin Kajrishvili, who directed Berlinale winning movie Brides [Patarzlebi], is continuing on a path of international recognition and has had her latest movie, Manji, selected for the Sarajevo Film Festival’s co-production market CineLink.
The selection targets projects from established regional names, which are in an advanced stage of development and financing.
This is Kajrishvili’s second feature film, after Brides, which was premiered at the 64th Berlin International Film Festival in the Panorama section and won the 3rd Place Panorama Audience Award – Fiction Film 2014.
Another movie selected for the Sarajevo Film Festival’s co-production market as a guest project is the Georgia-Russia co-production Honeymoon Flight, the fourth film by writer-director Rezo Gigineishvili.
