Another Georgian Victim Dies in Ukraine

Georgian soldier Konstantine Lashkhia died by accidental drowning in Mariupol in southeastern Ukraine. He had been fighting with Ukrainian and other Georgian soldiers for three months for Ukraine’s Freedom and Regional Unity.

Georgian ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili, now the current Governor of Ukraine's Odessa, posted the following on his official Facebook page: “I was heartbroken by this sad news. Kote Lashkhia was fighting with Ukrainian and other Georgian soldiers. He drowned into the sea by accident. Before the accident there were other Georgian soldiers who died for Ukraine’s Freedom and Regional Unity. These are Giorgi Janelidze, Alexsandre Grigalishvili, Tamaz Suxiashvili. All of them had come here to defend future peace,” said Mikheil Saakashvili.
