Georgia to Launch Annual National Tourism Award

The inaugural National Tourism Award ceremony, designed to celebrate the country’s touristic diversity, is to be held in Tbilisi on November 20, later this year.

The highest-achieving tourism businesses and brands working towards creating a positive image of Georgia worldwide will be honored at the event which is intended to become an annual affair.

The award ceremony will highlight major achievements in the Georgian tourism and hospitality business, rewarding the foremost players in the market.

“The Welcome to Georgia! Award is the only one of its kind, bringing together all key players of the Georgian hospitality and tourism industry and aims to promote Georgia as a tourism destination. It is the Oscars of Georgian tourism,” organizers said.
