Discount Week Launches in Kakheti Hotels

The first ever discount week is to launch in Kakheti region, Georgia, as part of a promotionof tourist destinations and services. The initiative is being run by the Georgian National Tourism Administration.

Discounts of 25% or more will be available in Kakheti hotels from February 13- 27 for both local visitors and tourists.

The project aims at boosting the popularity of one of Georgia’s regions, through attracting tourists during the off-season period.

Kakheti is one of the world’s oldest winemaking regions with a tradition of wine production dating back to 6000 BC, which has earned it a place on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
