Iare Pekhit Launches Fundraiser

Walk, or Iare Pekhit, an NGO for pedestrian rights, has launched a new fundraiser in support of Pavle Ter-Azarov, a young homeless disabled man who can often be found at the Pixel building on Chavchavadze Avenue Tbilisi, trying to collect money for his medical treatment. Pavle’s condition keeps him from walking, and he needs 8,000 GEL for treatment.

Iare Pekhit has organized an event “Let Pavle Walk” at the Pixel building, starting at 12pm on Saturday, March 4, and invites all the companies in Pixel, and the wider public, to join. After the event, at 2pm, a press conference will be held at 34 Chavchavadze Avenue.

Georgian artists Nato Bagrationi, Nanuka Chichua, Mamuka Lekiashvili, Andro Eradze, Andria Dolidze, Natela Grigalashvili, Madmax, Tinatin Chkhikvishvili, Nata Sopromadze, and Magda Dolaberidze will sell their work at the event to support Pavle Ter-Azarov. Additionally, Nick Fly and Alex Kovziridze will be performing, and Vegan Kiwi Café will sell food at the event.
