Qatar Airways Adds More Flights to Tbilisi

A Doha-Tbilisi-Doha flight (Airbus 320) will be launched by Qatar Airways from May 1, 2017. The new schedule will be presented for approval to the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency in the coming days.

The decision to intensify flights to Tbilisi was announced at the reception marking the five-year anniversary of Qatar Airways operations in the Georgian market.

The demand for both Doha and Tbilisi as destinations is said to be increasing from passengers from the Middle East.

Qatar Airways started operating in Georgia in February 2012 with Doha- Baku- Tbilisi and Tbilisi- Baku - Doha flights. From December 2016, the company added four more flights, removing the intermediary stop in Baku.
