RehabGlove and Treepex Rank Top Ten at Mobile World Congress
Two Georgian startups, RehabGlove and Treepex, were ranked in the top ten of over 2500 participating companies at the Mobile World Congress. It is the world’s largest event in the mobile industry, held in Barcelona from February 27th to March 2nd. The news was announced by Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA).
RehabGlove was the winner of the GITA’s pre-accelerator program; it received a 5000 Lari grant to make prototypes. RehabGlove is an electronic glove that works with a special program to support rehabilitation after strokes or other trauma.
Treepex won the fourth place at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and is also a beneficiary of GITA: it recieved a 5000 Lari grant to participate at an accelerator in the United States. With its slogan “Let’s make the world a bit greener,” Treepex makes it possible for any individual or a company to plant a tree.
