Licenced Georgian App Store on the Way in 2017

Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA) representatives met with high-ranking Apple executives during a visit to Silicon Valley, together with David Bakradze, Georgian ambassador to the US.

On its official Facebook page, GITA claimed Georgia will be put on the list of priority countries where Apple is planning expansion. GITA says an App store will be opened by the end of 2017 in Georgia and that negotiations between the parties have begun in this regard.

Georgian App Store customers will have a long-awaited chance to use licenced Apple products and services, while App accelerator developers will create better and improved applications for the IOS system, raising awareness of Georgian products.
