Georgian Railway Participates in Plant a Tree Campaign

Georgian Railway has joined the Plant a Tree Yourself campaign which will take place near the Guivi Zaldastanishvili American School at Lisi Lake on May 27 in Tbilisi.

 Launching a new campaign with Biblus Books and Makuliteratura, the Georgian Railway company representatives and their family members will be planting trees on the land, challenging other companies not to throw away paper waste, but to instead recycle. For all paper waste brought by the companies to recycle, a tree will then be planted. The Plant a Tree Yourself campaign launch is dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the Makuliteratura, a company that encourages individuals to exchange used paper and old books for new ones to enrich their libraries. Georgian Railway continues to be actively involved in CSR activities and plans to plant 50 cypress trees near Lisi Lake.
