Deputy Minister of Economy Keti Bochorishvili left her post and moved to the private sector. She has become the new Executive Director of “Anaklia City”, a TBC Bank and Conti Group company implementing Anaklia Deeps Sea Port construction.
“Anaklia City will be a business town, which will be a future economic city near the port, where modern technologies will be maximally integrated. It will be based on smart city principles and will be sustainable and ecologically clean," Bochorishvili says.
Bochorishvili says that after seven years of experience in the ministry, working in the private sector will be interesting for her.
"I think that with this large project I can contribute to the development of the country," she added.
Work on the Anaklia Deep Sea Port project began before the end of 2016 and would be completed by 2020.
