Truck Smashes into Train near Gori

At 6:50 am today, a truck crashed into train N 605, on the Nikozi-Gori Railway route. The driver of the truck was unable to stop and collided with the side of the train, derailing it.

As reported, none of the train passengers were injured and the truck driver received only light injuries. The Georgian Railway representatives arrived at the site quickly to work to resolve any issues.

No delays resulted from the incident and all other trains are running on schedule.
