New 3-Star Hotel to be Constructed in Kutaisi

Kutaisi, the second largest city in Georgia, will have a new 3-star hotel in 2017- the first brand hotel in the Imereti region. The memorandum of understanding was signed by the Partnership Fund, the state-owned shareholding company, and Capital Holding.

The hotel,to be located in the historical center of the city, will have five suites and 40 standard rooms and its infrastructure will include three conference rooms together with indoor and outdoor café restaurants.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, symbolically laid the foundation for the construction of the hotel together with the Partnership Fund CEO, Irakli Kovzanadze on July 18.

According to the agreement, the total cost of the project is $3million, from which $1.4million is paid by the Fund. The development of the hotel will be carried out by Simetria Company, the official representative of Best Western International in Georgia.
