Second Domino's Pizza Opens in Tbilisi

American chain restaurant Domino's Pizza will today open its second restaurant in Georgia on Tbilisi's Ilia Chavchavadze Avenue.

The opening ceremony is being attended by Eric Anderson, Domino's Vice President of Europe, Middle East and Africa, as well as Aslan Saranga, General Manager of Domino's Turkey.

Local company "Geo-Pizza" earlier signed an agreement with the American fast food giant, with the first Domino's in Georgia opening on Tbilisi's Kostava Street in late April this year.

While some of the produce used is imported from Europe, Georgian products, particularly vegetables, are also widely used in their pizzas. Around 60 people are already being employed by Domino's in Georgia and the company, in cooperation with their Georgian partner, aim to increase its Georgian workforce to over 300, as they plan to open up to ten restaurants in the country in the coming years.
