President of Georgia Arrives in Borjomi

President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili arrived in the village of Daba in Borjomi today, meeting with special emergency group members. Together with the President of Georgia, the National Security Council Secretary David Rakviashvili also attended the briefing in Borjomi. 

Emergency office members say that the fire is mainly localized, although areas of stronger fire still remain. They hope that with the help of aviation equipmet, it will be possible to extinguish the fire in those areas. A helicopter from Belarus is expected to join the efforts in the second part of the day. 

As the Georgian Public Broadcaster reports, apart from Turkey; Azerbaijan, Belarus, Germany, Romania and Greece are also ready to support Georgia to extinguish the fire.
